Mini market initiation

My first mini market experience was not overly successful.

After a sleepless night I set off in plenty of time equipped with table cloth and 3 storage boxes. Located in a village hall there were a range of stalls from handmade cards to fruit and veg. The other stall holders were lovely and complimented my work. However there were very few customers and most seemed to come in for a chat and a cup of tea! So at a cost of thankfully only £3 for the table, I sold 0.

Not to be disheartened I set off for another mini market the following Saturday in Newton St.Cyres village hall. As people kept saying you have to give it time. A similar set up here with various stalls but this time I made a sale. What a wonderful feeling and not only one sale but 2, a candlestick and candle holder 🙂
