1984 Diary Saturday 21st April

I can’t remember this at all, as I’m writing this 4 weeks adrift (May 24th) but I’ve got good old dad’s notes. However I’m afraid the notes are a bit thin for the next few days.

Mum and my brother came and I’m feeling okay. I ate well and had good food, which I think is fairly usual for this hospital.

Dad went home with my brother and that’s all I’ve got in the notes. I certainly can’t remember anything else and I wasn’t up to doing much anyway.

Apparently mum and dad have a guest room at the National Hospital, Queen Square in London. It’s linked to Great Ormond Street Hospital via a long dark basement corridor.

Explains why they’ve been able to arrive so early and stay late, which I really appreciated.
